 Al Brown a Native Washingtonian has always had a burning desire to become an artist. The dream began to turn to reality after correspondence courses and art classes in college. He soon began to realize being an artist was the life for him. He has had numerous shows and exhibitions in the Washington metropolitan area. His work has been on consignment in several area galleries. His Paintings have been accepted into juried exhibits at Washington Project for the Arts, Strathmore Hall Foundation, The Capitol Hill Art League and The Oxon Hill Manor Foundaton. His work has also been juried by the members of the curitorial staff of the Smithsonian Institution and the staff of the National Portrait Gallery.
