Integration
Michelle Matisse
“Integration” started out to be a painting about the integration of Family, Work and Art. This painting has taken me the longest time of all of my paintings so far, but then I guess “integration” does take a long time. In the end the following words found their way onto the canvas (some more than once):
integrate, dream, dream,
create, laugh, fulfill, dance,
fantasize, complete,
originate, celebrate,
believe, serve, think,
believe, become, love,
create.
