Stained Glass Heinz - Ides of March Eugene Patrick Devany
The clear curves at the base of this box are cut from Heinz catsup bottles (which unfortunately are now made from plastic}. The chiseled look of the base remains visible with the use of a light tinted antique seedy glass for the top. The tulip motifs is made with opalescent glass. It is 5.8 inches wide, 2.8 inches high and 3.9 inches deep. It was designed on the 15th of March (i.e. the "Ides of March"). [Senator Karey should buy it for his wife].
