We are Wendy Clark and Judy Macauley, a mother-daughter team of fused glass artists who launched Omega Art and Design in February, 2008.
Wendy studied fused glass art in high school years ago, and after four years in the Air Force then an AA degree earned at Olympic Community College in Bremerton, WA, Wendy was deciding which university to attend to earn her B.A. degree. After much prayer, she decided to become a full-time artist now and earn her degree later.
Judy has been a high school English teacher for ten years, a career she found after initially being an art major in college years ago. With a new husband and a new life in Seattle, Wendy worked to persuade her to return to art with fused glass. After prayer and careful thought, Judy is working full-time and launching a new art company, finding more fulfillment creating fused glass than she has in years. She hopes to segue out of teaching into full-time artwork within a short time.
We both enjoy art immensely, both creating it and viewing it, and we get along terrifically well. We feel called to be artists. We hope you enjoy our work. |
