Note Cards: ‘Fall Forest’ Collection

Note Cards: ‘Fall Forest’ Collection includes the following photos from Highbanks Metro Park, Lewis Center, Ohio: 1.) ‘Autumn Peeking Through:’ Walking back from an ‘Adena Mound’ to the park’s Nature Center in a thickly forested area of Coyote Trail, this was such a beautifully framed bright contrast of color. I immediately thought ‘autumn peeking through the trees!’ I stopped, zoomed in & took a single photo! 2.) ‘Bird Tree:’ This looked like a bird camouflaging itself on the side of the tree, though it is a 'knot' shaped like a bird on the tree with some leaves stuck in a crevasse at the bottom that added to the illusion & looked like the tail feathers of a bird. 3.) ‘Fall River Reflection:’ What amazed me is the color of the water in this location with the orange & yellows of the leaves causing the water to appear orange. Yet, several degrees to its right (see ‘In Search of Seashells’ herein this gallery as a print) & the sky & water colors were completely different from it. The sky color in this photo looked to me as some skies seen in Maxfield Parrish (1870-1966) paintings. It looks surreal with lavenders at the edges of the trees & an almost pale teal sky (interestingly enough, as an artist, my Mother painted many of her skies that color). 4.) ‘Tree Crater:’ As the Sun’s light sifted through Autumn trees, it created a lavender ‘Aura” again in this view (as in others from Highbanks Metro Park. The darkness of this oval ‘crater’ on this tree’s trunk caught my eye. I could only see it as a crater, though I am certain it is a disease the tree endures. I took this photo a time back & recently saw that tree again on a walk down the same trail. Quantity of Note Card per Set is four {4} & only sold as a Set. Cost per card $2.00 x 4 = $8.00 for the Set. Note Card Size: 4.25” Wide x 5.25” High & are blank on the inside. All cards are printed on white matte card stock weight paper. A white envelop is provided for each Note Card. These cards are suitable for Framing to create a beautiful wall display or can be framed individually to place on one’s desk or sacred space or on a fireplace mantle as a conversation starter.
