Location: Photo was taken by Maureen at Hakone Japanese Gardens on April 24, 2009 in Saratoga, California. Print Size: 8.5 x 11 inches & will be printed on white (unlimited). I love the layering of all the plants with the Wisteria seemingly hanging in mid-air in some places! The Japanese wooden bridge seems to just float above the lake with the many colors of green & the softness of all the Springtime colors, some not seen in the distance. Being there was a fresh of pureness with wonderful energy. The entire place felt as if I had suddenly been transported to Japan with the pleasing ways of a gentle, full & quite old Japanese Garden, unlike any I have ever seen anywhere else. This was one of my best photos of the lake & the arched bridge. I had other photos with the Wisteria in them, which really were beautiful then. I hope to someday return!
