How I got started: I don't think I developed an interest in art until I was at least 10 years old. I took art classes here and there, but nothing really struck my interest. It wasn't until I entered the studio/class of John Pacovsky, did I really become serious about art. I was just blown away by all of the amazing art work that this guy created, and at that moment, I knew I wanted to follow in his footsteps. I remember always saying that if I could come out as half as good as he is, I would be so greatly satisfied, and this is true to this day.
When I started classes with John, I was very reluctant to try new things; that was when I began creating nothing but "alien death scenes". Week after week, I would repeatedly draw aliens killing people in some pretty grotesque fashions. I'd say that was a rather weird stage I went through, and thankfully came out of.
After taking classes with John for about two years, and learning new techniques, I somehow gave painting a try. After years of practice and under the observations of John, I was able to paint, like him. (well of course not exactly like him, but mimmicking the manner in which he painted, I was able to convey into my works.) I believe I was around 14 years old, when I began entering my work in shows and exhibits, as well as selling my work, and doing commissions. From that age until now, I showcase my work in any opportunity I see available, continue on with commissions here and there, and most importantly, try to get my name out there and become known, in the hopes that I will be able to teach art to others, so that I could pass on the gift of art that was given to me, all thanks to the greatest inspiration of my life, John Pacovsky, and I hope that my success thus far has done him justice.
