Unconscious surreality – an abstract / expressionist vision of reality deals with the nature of living among the issues of world civilization and my latest interpretation of how humans behaves in a complicated, accelerated, unaware, controlled and confused society in chaos. I enhance my forms and characterization of my subject matter to intensify the message and solidify the meaning and intention.
The figure is my subject of concentration since we as superior beings in this planet ignore the true nature that govern us by missing the whole point of existence. I paint disguising some of my messages to leave the admirer wondering while findings hints that will lead to a more clear idea of the artwork. I improvise while creating, this new series of paintings are done from the unconscious where mostly nothing is planned as I present you imagery with a surreal flair bringing it to the surface of a conscious reality.
I also stress the importance of human feelings and emotions in contrast with the humans maximum form of expression such as eroticism and sensuality, fantasies and many other aspects with a satirical approach that we are constantly hiding afraid of unrevealing the mask we wear.
Heavy color and intense harmonious brush strokes serves as a perfect companion for the purpose and direction of these pieces. Abstract expressionism is constantly used as a new approach in my artwork to hide some of the ideas, realities and absurdities that we don't want to hear or accept and still we are caught in the matrix of a blind civilization.
The exhibit also includes my latest vision and symbolic interpretation of my personal view in relation to life and the universe based on personal experience.
