F.F.A. Barn No. 2
Robert McCune
One of three barns used by Future Farmers of America students at a high school in northeastern California's ranch country.
A light breeze was moving the wild oat grass a bit, so I set the ISO speed at 300 instead of the usual 100 used for tripod shooting.
We camped just below the barn that night. I advised Maggie: “I’ll set the alarm for five, and maybe get a good sunrise photo for the website.”
Maggie, looking over at me from her sleeping bag: “Don’t wake me up.”
The next morning, giving way to the lazy part of myself, I reached over and turned off the alarm. With just a twinge of guilt, went back to sleep.
As you can see, my photos are of art gallery quality, showing careful and time consuming in-the-field composition.
Photos are printed in a professional photo lab on an Epson Stylus Pro 9800, using Epson Premium Luster paper with Ultrachrome inks.
Shipment will be within 14 days, unless Maggie and I are on a photo-shoot.
Artwork is copyrighted.
Am unable to offer matting and framing.
Orders from outside the U.S. are quite complicated due to each country's Import Value-Added-Tax. For instance, in Portugal this amounts to 23 percent of the value of the photo. Please ask about this via email. I’ll then check with the local post office, and get back to you via return email.
Please note. Your computer monitor might show lower brightness, contrast, and color than seen in the print itself. Also, there will be some loss of sharpness when zooming in to enlarge an image.
