Yellow Field Barn
Robert McCune
This ranch is in the southwest part of the state of Washington, along the lower Columbia River. Photo-shoot was in late spring, with the field of mustard plants in full bloom. The barn's metal roof isn't painted red; the color is due to rust.
Later that day, camped somewhere 200 miles further east along the Columbia. Maggie's on her bunk, reading. Out-of-the-blue, she enthused, “You know what I’m going to do?" (She pauses, thinking on it). “No, I’m not.”
I go back to my shoot-em-up Western, and Maggie continues with, “THE HOUSE OF RAINBOW: Tracking a Vanished American Coyote Across the United States." (About ancient Anasazi in the American southwest).
As you can see, my photos are of art gallery quality, showing careful and time consuming in-the-field composition.
Photos are printed in a professional photo lab on an Epson Stylus Pro 9800, using Epson Premium Luster paper with Ultrachrome inks.
Shipment will be within 14 days, unless Maggie and I are on a photo-shoot.
Artwork is copyrighted.
Am unable to offer matting and framing.
Orders from outside the U.S. are quite complicated due to each country's Import Value-Added-Tax. For instance, in Portugal this amounts to 23 percent of the value of the photo. Please ask about this via email. I’ll then check with the local post office, and get back to you via return email.
Please note. Your computer monitor might show lower brightness, contrast, and color than seen in the print itself. Also, there will be some loss of sharpness when zooming in to enlarge an image.
