	First of the Season Avalon Art Studio "First of the Season" is a 8.75" x 9" gouache water color painting on 100% acid free cold pressed watercolor paper by award winning American artist, Arlene Wright-Correll. An avid gardener, as Ms. Wright-Correll finds herself in the mid seventies she says, "Most of my efforts go into flowers. However, I always plant some cucumbers and some tomatoes and these were the first of the season in my 2009 garden. Fresh and crisp, delightfully flavorful these cucumbers were picture perfect as I picked them and I could not resist painting a small picture of them".
